Nanochemistry, Nanofabrication, Nanomaterials, Nanoparticles, Nanophotonics
Main research and technological activities
Our main research activities focus on the laser-based synthesis of nanomaterials. Laser-assisted fabrication offers a versatile and environmentally friendly approach for producing high-purity nanomaterials without the need for complex chemical precursors or surfactants, reducing waste generation and minimizing environmental impact compared with conventional synthesis methods. This technique enables precise control over the properties of the produced nanomaterials, making it suitable for a wide range of advanced applications.
Our research is dedicated to understanding and optimizing laser synthesis processes to develop functional nanomaterials with tailored structural, optical, and physicochemical properties. In addition, we investigate the application of nanotechnology in biomedicine, including the development of nanomaterials for diagnostic, therapeutic, and biomedical sensing applications. We also explore the use of advanced nanomaterials to improve energy efficiency through innovative materials and technologies for energy conversion, storage, and management.
